Appearance

Surgeon is a very bony coyote, with most of his pelt being covered in dark brown fur. He stands at a tall 6 foot even (not counting his ears), and is very lanky in stature. His pelt is complex, with multiple spots of dark browns being cut through with tan speckles, and down his legs has a sort of thornbush pattern throughout which goes up to his stomach area. His ribs are usually visible when he's shirtless. He has a very pointed snout, with numerous whiskers poking out. Most of his coat is short, with both the back of his neck and tail being the outliers in this, with large puffs of fur on each. He has striking orange eyes with fairly heavy eyebags, though he'll say that it's just his pelt markings.

Surgeon tends to try to wear as little clothes as societally possible in his area, regularly seen with tight fitting leather pieces. He takes great pride in his outfits, and rarely wears the same one twice if he's able. He is also commonly seen in crop tops or mesh tops, with very little underneath. Even though he says he loves the heat more than anything, he rarely wears anything that would make him sweat a lot (ie long pants, long sleeves, sweatshirts) and only wears them while at home. While on his bike, he takes extra percautions to stay safe by wearing full bike gear. (including the very expensive helmet he was somehow able to afford.) He rarely opts for jeans while riding, instead going for full bike suits or leather pants/jacket/gloves. He regularly wears boots and heavy shoes, and he makes a point to keep them spotless.

Personality

At first glance, he's someone that you really wouldn't like to talk to. (Which is honestly partially true.) But once you get talking to him, he's very kind and polite, and very easy to talk to. During conversations in social situations such as bars, he generally lets the other party speak more than he does. Behind closed doors, he is very much the same, but he tends to be more... protective. He is very protective of people he gets close to, but not really in the best way. He gets mean quickly, and doesn't feel worried about throwing low blows. Outside of those moments, he's very caring and will most likely drop everything he was doing to check in on you if you're a close friend. He's a bit clingy, but what can you do. He's the type of person to hold a grudge for years, and not forget what people do to him, be it percieved or not.

Likes: Smoking (cigs and weed. No cigars), warm and dry weather, desert life, motorcyling (+ it's culture), goth + industrial fashion

Dislikes: Snow, wet weather, humid heat, most alcohol, soft foods, very sweet treats

Lore

Surgeon grew up in a large desert city, with not much to write home about. His parents tended to let him do whatever through the summer months, which meant he tended to hang out in the desert until nightfall doing... whatever he did. He never attended college, and in his own words, thought of it as a scam. He worked odd jobs for years, and during this time, he picked up an ex or two.

He has only a handful of ex's, one being Sterling. The two of them met while Sterling was on a job, and they hit it off. The relationship lasted about a year in change, before Sterling decided to cut it off for good. He really doesn't speak about Surgeon much, and tends to change the subject when he's brought up. Surgeon, on the other hand, doesn't mind talking about his previous relationships, though he tends to leave out the parts where he may have done something wrong. The two of them see eachother from time to time, but their meets rarely last a few short spoken words before they go their own way again. After this, Sterling went on to become an underground weapons dealer in the city, further removing himself from most things. It's a sore spot for both.

He continues to work odd jobs frequently, periodically opening his motorcycle fixing buisness for some extra cash. He doesn't complain about his jobs, (even though some of them have been really shitty.) and tends to stay at them for long periods. Currently, he works at a small family run grocery store in the town he's staying in, working as a stocker for overnights. It's a solitary job, but he gets it all done in a timely manor. During one of his earlier shifts, he met a coydog who felt... quite out of place in the store. They got to talking, (Mostly Surgeon this time), and they hit it off.

The coydog he met was Tobacco, a very quiet and jumpy person. He was shopping there near the closing, since there would be a lot less people there than usual. Surgeon managed to get him to want to talk to him more, and the two hit it off. (Honestly their relationship is the one post where its like you're both terrible for eachother never break up because no one can deal with whatever the fuck is going on there) Surgeon regularly goes to Tobacco's apartment to check in on him, and is incredibly protective of him, to the point where if they're out with each other, Surgeon has to be holding at least one part of Tobacco at all times les something bad happens (nothing will. The two of them have problems.)

Trivia

  Incredibly flexible and can get into hard to reach places given his size. A good gift for trying to get that one tool stuck behind a toolbench

  Drives a motorcycle as the main vehicle he uses. Drives a honda he fixed himself.

  Very sociable, and is quick to get to know people, but tends to not give out any personal information to the people he meets. (Though has a line of ex's behind him.)
